About eFileMaine
eFileMaine is part of Maine eCourts — the Judicial Branch’s new electronic case management and court record storage system, empowered by Tyler Technologies.
Maine eCourts is comprised of:
- eFileMaine: A web-based platform that allows attorneys to eFile documents, access court documents, and pay court fees online
- Guide & File: An interactive, web-based application that helps self-represented parties eFile documents in certain types of court cases
- Odyssey Portal: A web portal that allows court users and the public to search public court records and pay fines
- Odyssey: A powerful court case management and digital document storage system for the courts
The Judicial Branch is implementing Maine eCourts by case type and court, with a projected completed date of 2022.
eFileMaine is being phased in by court region and case type beginning with Bangor courts in the fall of 2020.
Management of the Maine eCourts project is being coordinated by the Judicial Branch Administrative Office of the Courts with the Tyler Technologies’ Odyssey Project Team.
